David Gomez is an Ohio native who began his professional career in entertainment in Chicago, Illinois at the age of 19 when he joined the renowned dance company Hubbard Street Dance Chicago (HSDC). After 10 years in Chicago, David relocated to New York City where he joined the company of Broadway’s Contact at Lincoln Center Theater under the direction of Susan Stroman. David continued his career on Broadway as an original cast member of Movin’ Out, A Billy Joel Musical directed and choreographed by Twyla Tharp, where he played the lead role of Tony. He also performed the role on the first U.S. National Tour, on London’s West End, and in Tokyo, Japan. In 2006, David moved to Las Vegas where he joined the cast of Cirque du Soleil’s The Beatles LOVE show as an artist and soon became the dance supervisor. In 2010, David was promoted to Artistic Director of Cirque du Soleil’s Mystere where he was in charge of maintaining the artistic quality of the show and managing a cast of 70+ artists from over 17 different counties. In 2015, David became Artistic Director of Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson ONE, and R.U.N at The Luxor Hotel. David explored Real Estate and worked as Operation Manager with The Brendan King Group at Real Broker LLC. Currently David is still working in the Live Entertainment field while offering classes, workshops, talks, and support to future artists. David is also excited to now be joining his wife Pamela Gomez in exploring a new adventure together called InterACT! See the InterAct tab for more information. David is currently working with Baz Halpin, CEO and Founder of Silent House with Producers Bernie Yuman, and Michael Curry as Resident Artistic Director of Awakening at Wynn Las Vegas.
